Following the successful launch, a follow up meeting was held on 17th March 2009 at the Bunker Room RSH Hospital at which a committee was formed. With the assistance of Southampton Voluntary Services the group registered as a company limited by guarantee and we formed as a charity. A Memorandum and Articles of Association was drawn up and a copy is issued to each member. The members of the committee formed a Board of Directors to run the company and also act as Trustees to the charity. The SCPCT [NHS Southampton City] will have the power to nominate one director to sit on the Board.[Dawn Buck Patient and Public Involvement Manager].
